About the role

Youth First is looking to recruit a highly dynamic and experienced Impact & Performance Data Analyst to support the Director of Business Development and the Executive Management Team in their duties and in demonstrating the impact Youth First makes to young people’s lives. This is a new post and as such will allow the successful applicant to play a part in shaping the role and also helping to design and implement new systems in relation to data management, performance improvement and monitoring of service delivery and contracted service outcomes. A background in this area of work is essential, as is the ability to work on your own initiative and think laterally and creatively.

Youth First was born from the passion of youth and play workers to create a means to sustain and ideally grow youth work for young people aged 8-19 (up to 25 with SEND), first in Lewisham and now beyond.

Essential requirements

  •  Experience of preparing data and performance management information
  •  Experience of developing reports that support managers in their roles
  •  Experience of interrogating data in relation to contracted and/or commissioned services
  •  Experience of supporting senior managers and advising them in relation to management information and data
  •  Knowledge and understanding of Data protection and GDPR
  •  Competent database and management tools
  •  Please note this position is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
