More about this youth club

Bellingham Gateway was built in 2007 funded by the Bellingham Community Project, Big Lottery Fund and Sport England. It is an innovative design with a large indoor space that has the capacity for a range of uses including bowls, roller skating, table tennis, and community meetings.

The club hosts special events requested by the club's youth forum such as a Valentine's roller disco. Bellingham partners with others orgnisations like Cubs, Scouts and Beavers and also runs special sessions for young girls to help build confidence and positive self-worth.

The team at Bellingham works especially hard to create local partnerships that benefit the local community. They pride themselves on being open to a wide range of users, even running a ‘walking’ bus to bring primary school children to the site so they can safely experience the full range of fun and engaging activities.

Since September 2016 Bellingham has also been the site of the Youth First central office. We are very proud to call it our home.
