Climate Home Festival: Staying Out DIY Fashion Show

A DIY inspired fashion show, celebrating all the styles and uniqueness in the borough.

Showcasing fabulous fashion creations from Lewisham, with an open call for anyone to show off their DIY fashion on the runway. Including two community collections, one from the elders group Meet Me at the Albany and one from young people at Climate Home, designed by Cleo Thompson. Plus more community collections soon to be announced. Be prepared to strut!

This event is for all ages, bodies and minds, and the collections will encourage a sustainable approach to making clothes. This fashion show is about the power of dressing up, expressing ourselves and celebrating each other. Come along in your best looks! There will also be a styling station on the day for finishing touches.

Staying Out are a collective who host community-focused events. Motivated by the lack of LGBTQI+ spaces, we have organised fashion shows, lounge nights, workshops, screenings, panel discussions and dance parties. We make the spaces and events we want to see in the world.

Staying Out are trained and accredited by Good Night Out Campaign and committed to providing a safe space at every event we host. For all ages!
