The UKs first employee and young people owned mutual has won an award for its innovative and pioneering work around diversity.
The Three Faiths Foundation (3FF) invited nominations from partners and organisations to celebrate community based projects and initiatives that work to address issues surrounding inclusion, challenging isolation and creating spaces where people of all cultures and faiths, including non-faith groups.
The awards event was presided over by Kama Leesa OBE Her Majesty's Lord Lieutenant of Greater London and David Deborn the Chair of the Three Faiths Foundation Council.
The award was presented to Amy West Lewisham's young people's Young person board representative and Brian Willmore, Youth First's Director of Business Development.
Receiving the award, Brian Willmore said:
"The values of inclusivity, challenging discrimination and working towards a more fair, just and equal society underpin everything that Youth First stands for. Receiving this award is a wonderful opportunity for us to celebrate our achievements and will only encourage us to redouble our efforts further. We would like to thank all those who nominated and voted for us, the judging panel, the Lord Lieutenant of Greater London and the communities with whom we work".
